Ridgway Wins Provincial Title

Jan 28/01 -  Michelle Ridgway made a tap back to count 1 and a 5-4 win over Sherry Anderson in the Championship Final of the Provincial SaskPower Scott Tournament of Hearts in Estevan Sunday.  Ridgway got a break in the 9th when Anderson hit and stuck on a blank attempt to tie the game but give the hammer coming home to Ridgway... and she used it.  Ridgway will now represent Saskatchewan at the Scott Tournament of Hearts in Sudbury at the end of Feburary.

Anderson won a hard fought 7-6 win over Patty Rocheleau in the semi-final Saturday night. Anderson made a great double hit for two and the win after Rocheleau staged a come-back from a three-point deficit after 5 ends.
